HomeMy WebLinkAbout067 - 05/05/1987 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUND AND TECHNICAL STUDIES - UMTA FUND ORDINANCE NO. 67, 1987 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUND AND TECHNICAL STUDIES - UMTA FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received at any time during the year and which are a result of new revenue sources; and WHEREAS, the City will receive $18,400 in grant funds from the Urban Mass Transportation Administration; and WHEREAS, these funds will be used in conjunction with City funds to build two bus shelters and create a Transportation Task Force. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1 . That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Transportation Fund the sum of SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS (E6,400) to build two bus shelters. Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Technical Studies - UMTA Fund the sum of TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS (E12,000) for the creation of a Transportation Task Force. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 21st day of April , A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of May, A.D. 1987.
