OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE EQUIPMENT FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, the Equipment Fund needs to purchase twelve (12) vehicles for
the City's equipment pool to replace vehicles transferred to other
departments; and
WHEREAS, prior year reserves in the Equipment Fund are sufficient to
cover this appropriation for expenditure of funds, and to maintain required
reserve balances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Equipment Fund the total sum of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SIX
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($126,000) for the purchase of twelve vehicles for the
City's equipment pool .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 17th day of March A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of April , A.D. 1987.
