OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING A PORTION OF AN EXISTING ALLEY
IN BLOCK 293, WESTSIDE ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has been petitioned
by the Fort Collins Housing Authority to vacate a portion of an existing
alley located in the Westside Addition, set forth in more particular below;
and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority owns the lots adjacent to the portion
of the alley they requested to have vacated and this vacation would enable
the Authority to better utilize those lots for redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, this vacation will not block access to any of the other lots
in Blocks 293, Westside Addition; and
WHEREAS, all utilities have been contacted and have no objection to
the vacation; and
WHEREAS, the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will
in no way be prejudiced or injured by said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the portion of an existing alley located in Block 293,
Westside Addition, set out more particularly as follows, to wit:
The fifteen (15) foot alley between Lots 1, 2, and 3 of the
Replat of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 293 Westside
Addition, and Lot 13 of Block 293, Westside Addition, City of
Fort Collins,
be, and the same hereby is, vacated, abated and abolished.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 17th day of March, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of April , A.D. 1987.
