OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO THE COLLECTION OF STREET OVERSIZING FEES
WHEREAS, Section 24-116 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
provides for an annual review and/or adjustment of oversizing fees to be
made by the Director of Engineering; and
WHEREAS, City staff has recommended that to provide for a more
equitable apportionment of development costs, the oversizing fees should be
adjusted as follows:

Industrial 7, 176/Gross Acre 7,463/Gross Acre
Commercial 14,352/Gross Acre 14,926/Gross Acre
and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the adjustments of street oversizing
fees as set forth below are necessary in the public interest to fairly
allocate the increased costs of street oversizing among developers of real
property within the City and to offset the impacts of such development upon
the City streets; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City that the aforesaid
fees be established accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That Section 24-112 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and it hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"five hundred ninety-eight dollars ($598) " and substituting therefor the
words and figures "six hundred twenty-two dollars ($622) . "
Section 3. That Section 24-113 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures "seven
thousand one hundred seventy-six dollars ($7, 176) " and by substituting
therefor the words and figures "seven thousand four hundred sixty-three
dollars ($7,463) . "
Section 4. That Section 24-114 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"fourteen thousand three hundred fifty-two dollars ($14,352)" and by
substituting therefor the words and figures "fourteen thousand nine hundred
twenty-six dollars ($14,926) . "
