HomeMy WebLinkAbout167 - 01/17/1989 - ZONING ORCHARD ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO.167 , 1988 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE ORCHARD ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1 . That the Zoning District Map adopted by Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the Orchard Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the R-L-P Low Density Planned Residential District: A tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 6 North, Range 69 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Larimer County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: Considering the South line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2 as bearing North 88°26'52" East and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of Section 2, thence along said South line of the Southwest Quarter North 88026'52" East 1310.22 feet to the West line of the East One-half of said Southwest Quarter (said West line also being the East line of Voc Tech/Smith Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado) ; thence along said West line North 00007'36" East 1894.28 feet to a point on the North line of Applewood Estates, Larimer County, Colorado; said point being the True Point of Beginning; thence along the North line of said Applewood Estates North 88038'22" East 352.56 feet to the West line of that tract of land described in Book 1631, Page 461 records of said county; thence along said West line North 00°18'32" East 746.51 feet to a point on the North line of the East One-half of said Southwest Quarter (said point also being on the Southerly line of Voc Tech/Smith Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado) ; thence along said North line South 89°28'53" West 354.85 feet to the West line of the East One-half of said Southwest Quarter (said West line also being the East line of Voc Tech/Smith Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado) ; thence along said West line South 00°07'36" West 751.66 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Said tract contains 6.08 acres, more or less, and is subject to all easements and rights-of-way of record. Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning District Map in accordance with this Ordinance. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 6th day of December, A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final passage on the 17th day of January, A.D. 1989.
