HomeMy WebLinkAbout024 - 03/19/1985 - REAPPROPRIATING 1984 FUNDS IN THE STREET OVERSIZING FUND ORDINANCE NO. 24, 1985 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS REAPPROPRIATING 1984 FUNDS IN THE STREET OVERSIZING FUND WHEREAS, as of December 31, 1981, there exists a Charter provision (Article V, Section 10) whereby all appropriations unexpended or unencum- bered at the end of the budget year lapse to the applicable general or special fund, with the exception of appropriations for capital projects and federal or state grants which do not lapse until the completion of the capital project or the expiration of the particular grant ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8, Article V, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins, the City is authorized to make expenditures of funds from reserves accumulated in prior years . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1985 from accumulated reserves in the Street Oversizing Fund the total sum of THIRTY- FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($34, 905) for completion of traffic signal projects.
