OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES AND
ANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CONSERVATION TRUST
FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
APPROPRIATIONS BET'rEEN PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available, to appropriate revenue at any time
during the year in which such revenue is received, and to transfer unex-
pended appropriated amounts from one project to another project ; and
WHEREAS, the Conservation Trust Fund will have $430,000 available, for
open space projects in 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to appropriate these available funds to
specific projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
1. That there is hereby appropriated from anticipated revenue from
the Colorado Lottery for expenditure in the Conservation Trust Fund the
total sum of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($250,000) ; and
2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Conservation Trust Fund the total sum of THIRTY-FIVE
THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIX DOLLARS ($35,406) ; and

4. That these appropriations in the total amount of $404,000 are
approved for expenditure in the Conservation Trust Fund as follows:
Poudre River Open Space Acquisition $130,000
Open Space Acquisition 50,000
Strauss Cabin Trail 50,000
Strauss Cabin Trailhead 94,000
Spring Creek-College Avenue Underpass 10,000
Fort Collins/Loveland Corridor 70,000
TOTAL $404,000
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of February , A.D. 1985, and to be presented for
final passage on the 19th day of February, A.D. 1985.
