OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN
CAPITAL PROJECTS, APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
PARKLAND FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
FROM THE PARKLAND FUND AND STREET OVERSIZING FUND
TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of
any expense from prior year reserves at any time such reserves are
available; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to transfer unexpended, appropriated
amounts from one fund to another or from one project to another upon the
recommendation of the City Manager, provided that the purpose for the
initial expenditure of said funds no longer exists; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to complete Shields Street improvements
included in the Centre for Advanced Technology Special Improvement
District #90; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Rolland Moore Park capital
project, in Parkland Fund prior year reserves and in the Street Oversizing
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the following transfer of existing appropriations be
authorized in the Capital Projects Fund:
FROM: Rolland Moore Park $40,600
TO: Special Improvement District #90 $40,600
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
prior year reserves in the Parkland Fund the total sum of FIFTY THREE
THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($53,400) for transfer to the Capital
Projects Fund.
Section 3. That FIFTY THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($53,400)
is hereby transferred from the Parkland Fund to the Capital Projects Fund
and appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for Special
Improvement District #90.
Section 4. That FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
NINETY-TWO DOLLARS ($571,792) is hereby appropriated for transfer from
existing appropriations in the Street Oversizing Fund to the Capital
Projects Fund and appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund
for Special Improvement District #90.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 3rd day of November, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for
final passage on the 17th day of November, A.D. 1987.
