HomeMy WebLinkAbout088 - 07/16/1991 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND ORDINANCE NO. 88 , 1991 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED'REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue which are the result of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 91-96 on July 2, 1991, authorizing the City to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Colorado for the receipt of Federal -Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) funds to provide for the expansion and upgrade of the City's computerized traffic signal system; and WHEREAS, the City anticipates receiving $500,000 in FAUS funds for the expansion and upgrade of the City's computerized traffic control system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that upon the City's receipt of the sum of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000) in Federal -Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) funds from the State of Colorado, said sum is appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Transportation Services Fund to provide for the expansion and upgrade of the City's computerized traffic control system. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 2nd day of July, A.D. 1991 , and to be presented for final passage on the 16th day of July, A.D. 1991 .
