OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF 2707 SOUTH TAFT HILL ROAD,
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins, Colorado ("the City") , is the owner of
the property located at 2707 South Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, Colorado ("the
City property") ; and
WHEREAS, Christine A. Bryan is the owner of the property located at 2711
South Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, Colorado ("the Bryan property") ; and
WHEREAS, Christine A. Bryan has proposed to lease the City property from
the City for the principal purpose of residing on the property and has agreed
to provide the City with an option to purchase the Bryan property; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into this lease in order to properly
utilize the City property; and
WHEREAS, the lease provides for a month-to-month term that can be
terminated on ninety (90) days' notice but in no event continuing after December
31, 1996, and also provides for rent in the form of a reduced option purchase
price on the option property; and
WHEREAS, Section 23-114 of the Code of the City requires that the Council
find the Lease Agreement is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the proposed lease of the City property is in the best
interests of the City.
Section 2. That the Mayor be, and she hereby is, authorized to enter into
an agreement with Christine A. Bryan for lease of the Bryan property on the terms
and conditions set forth above.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 2nd day of July, A.D. 1991, and to be presented for final passage on the
16th day of July, A.D. 1991 .
