HomeMy WebLinkAbout030 - 03/19/1991 - ZONING THE HARMONY ROAD EP, EMPLOYMENT PARK REZONING ORDINANCE NO. 30, 1991 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE HARMONY ROAD - EP, EMPLOYMENT PARK REZONING WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City for the purpose of implementing the Harmony Corridor Plan, that certain property along Harmony Road be rezoned into the newly established EP, Employment Park Zoning District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1 . That the Zoning District Map adopted by Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by changing the zoning classifications from T Transition, IP Industrial Park and BP Planned Business Zoning Districts, to EP Employment Park Zoning District, for the following described property in the City known as the Harmony Road - EP, Employment Park Rezoning: The North 1/2 of Section 5, Township 6 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. (324 ± acres) ; also The Northeast 1/4 of Section 6, Township 6 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , lying to the East of the East line of the Union Pacific Railroad (84.3 ± acres) ; also The South 300.01 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. (36.4 ± acres) ; also A tract of land in the West half of Section 32, Township 7 North, Range 68 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows: Considering the West line of the Southwest quarter of the said Section 32 as bearing North 00'04'44" East and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the said Section 32; thence along the said West line, North 00'04'44" East 30. 14 feet to the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly right-of-way of Harmony Road; thence along the said Westerly prolongation, South 89°21'25" East 70.00 feet to the Easterly line of the proposed 70.00 foot wide right-of-way of Timberline Road and to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description; thence along the said proposed Easterly right- of-way, North 00°04'44" East 743.08 feet; thence leaving the said proposed right-of-way, South 89°55' 16" East 322.22 feet; thence 176.61 feet along the arc of a curve concave to the Northwest having a central angle of 42°09'45" a radius of 240.00 feet, the long chord of the said curve bears North 68°59'51" East 172.65 feet; thence non-tangent from the said curve, South 42'05'01" East 95.25 feet; thence South 82°09'50" East 542.21 feet; thence South 88°36'40" East 169.70 feet to the East line of the West half of the Southwest Quarter of the said Section 32; thence along the said East line, South 00°02'55" West 662.66 feet to the said Northerly right-of- way of Harmony Road; thence along the said Northerly right-of-way the following five (5) courses and distances, (1) North 89°37'56" West 658.36 feet; (2) South 59°13'30" West 5.80 feet; (3) North 89°27'05" West 317.00 feet; (4) North 89'37'56" West 106.00 feet; (5) North 89°21 '25" West 168.20 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning District Map in accordance with this Ordinance. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 5th day of March, A.D. 1991, and to be presented for final passage on the 19th day of March, A.D. 1991 .
