HomeMy WebLinkAbout027 - 03/19/1991 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR RECYCLING PROMOTION ORDINANCE NO. 27 , 1991 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue received as a result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the budget year; and WHEREAS, the City has been selected to receive a joint grant, along with Larimer County, the City of Loveland, the Town of Estes Park and Colorado State University for the funding of a recycling promotion and public education program; and WHEREAS, the City shall receive $30,000 as its portion of the Urban Community Recycling Support Program grant; and WHEREAS, this grant will be used to expand the City's recycling promotion and education program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the sum of THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) for a recycling promotion and education program. Introduced, considered favorable on first reading, and ordered published this 5th day of March, A.D. 1991, and to be presented for final passage on the 19th day of March, A.D. 1991 .
