HomeMy WebLinkAbout049 - 05/06/1986 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APP ORDINANCE NO. 49, 1986 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the Council to appropriate revenue at any time during the year in which such revenue is received and to transfer appropriated amounts from one project to another project; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to reconstruct the pavement on Mason Street from Laurel Street to Mountain Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City will receive funds from the Federal Aid Urban System ( FAUS ) which , by contract , will fund 78% of the Mason Street Reconstruction; and WHEREAS, the remaining 22% in City funds required are available in the 1986 Street Rehabilitation Capital Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue from the Federal Aid Urban System for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund, the total sum of THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX DOLLARS ($336,336) for the Mason Street Reconstruction Project. Section 2. That the following transfer of existing appropriations be authorized in the Capital Projects Fund: FROM: Street Rehabilitation $103,664 TO: Mason Street Reconstruction $103,664 Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 15th day of April , A.D. 1986, and to be presented for final passage on the 6th day of May, A.D. 1986.
