OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUES IN THE
DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FUND FOR
THE FUNDING OF CERTAIN SIDEWALK AND ALLEY
IMPROVEMENTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RENOVATION
OF PROPERTIES BY MOUNTAIN AVENUE PLAZA PARTNERSHIP
AT 126-136 WEST MOUNTAIN AVENUE
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has issued bonds in the
approximate amount of $8.2 million; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has available $65,025.60
in the DDA capital projects fund; and
WHEREAS, Mountain Avenue Plaza Partnership has proposed to renovate
properties at 126-136 West Mountain Avenue; and
WHEREAS, such renovation includes improvement to adjacent public
alleyways and sidewalks; and
WHEREAS, said improvements to public alleyways and sidewalks meet with
the established objectives of the Fort Collins Downtown Development
Authority' s Plan of Development; and
WHEREAS, design of said public alleyway and sidewalk improvements
meets with the guidelines established for pedestrian-way improvements and
with established City codes and regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has available $36,500
which can be used to carry out the objectives of the Plan of Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenues in the Downtown Development Authority fund the sum
of THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($36,500) for the funding of
certain sidewalk and alley improvements.
Introduced, considered tavorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 15th day of April , A. D. 1986 and to be presented for final
passage on the 6th day of May, A. D. 1986.
