OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 73 OF THE CODE BY DELETING
SECTIONS 73-49 THRU 73-57 REGARDING BILLBOARDS
WHEREAS, upon the direction of the City Council , the staff is in the
process of recodifying the present City Code and as a part of
recodification obsolete provisions will be deleted, chapters will be
reorganized to facilitate use, and sections will be revised to conform to
present practices; and
WHEREAS, Article IX of Chapter 73 of the Code which pertains to
billboards has been found to conflict with other sections of the Code
covering the same subject; and
WHEREAS, deletion of Article IX of Chapter 73 will in no way interfere
with the enforcement of or weaken the other sections of the City Code
pertaining to billboards but will clarify the intent of the Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Article IX, Billposting and Billboards, of Chapter 73 of the
Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and it hereby is, repealed in its
entirety.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 21st day of October, A.D. 1986, and to be presented for
final passage on the 4th day of November, A.D. 1986.
