OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, the City's Police Department has been awarded a grant from
the Eighth Judicial District Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement Board in
the amount of $11,585 for the acquisition of a portable forensic argon
laser system; and
WHEREAS, the forensic argon laser system will be used by our Police
Department as well as the Larimer County Sheriff's Department, Colorado
State University Police Department and the Loveland Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the
General Fund the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE
DOLLARS ($11,585) for the purchase of a portable forensic argon laser
system.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 7th day of July, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of July, A.D. 1987.
