OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 95-90
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO THE COLLECTION OF STREET OVERSIZING FEES
WHEREAS, Section 95-91 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
provides for an annual adjustment of oversizing fees to be made by the
Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, City staff has recommended that to provide for a more
equitable apportionment of development costs, the oversizing fees should be
adjusted as follows:
FROM TO
Residential $ 575/Dwelling Unit $ 598/Dwelling Unit
Industrial 6,900/Gross Acre 7, 176/Gross Acre
Commercial 13,800/Gross Acre 14,352/Gross Acre
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City that the aforesaid
fees be established accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That Section 95-90 (A) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and it hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"Five Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($575. )" and substituting therefor the
words and figures "Five Hundred Ninety-Eight Dollars ($598. ) . "
Section 2. That Section 95-90 (B) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures "Six
Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($6,900. ) " and by substituting therefor the
words and figures "Seven Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars
($7, 176.) . "
Section 3. That Section 95-90 (C) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($13,800. )" and by substituting
therefor the words and figures "Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-Two
Dollars ($14,352. ) . "
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 7th day of October, A.D. 1986, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of October, A.D. 1986.
