OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN
THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FUND
FOR STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN CONJUNCTION
WITH LARIMER COMMUNITY SERVICES, INCORPORATED
IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A UNITED SOCIAL AGENCIES BUILDING
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has issued bonds in the
approximate amount of $8.2 million; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has had presented to it a
plan for the construction of a united social agencies building in the
downtown to serve residents of the community of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, for the realization of said physical improvement the Downtown
Development Authority has been requested by Larimer Community Services,
Incorporated for assistance in certain street and utility improvements
related to said project; and
WHEREAS, such assistance meets with the Downtown Development Authority
objectives to improve downtown for the benefit and social well -being of
City residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Downtown Development Authority Fund the sum of
FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000) for use for certain street and utility
improvements on Pine Street essential to the construction of a united
social agencies building.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this lst day of October, A.D. 1985 and to be presented for final
passage on the 15th day of October, A.D. 1985.
