OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE AND
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN PROJECTS
IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received and to transfer
appropriated amounts from one project to another project; and
WHEREAS, the City will receive federal Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) funds totalling $566,000; and
WHEREAS, funds are also available from existing and anticipated CDBG
program income totalling $102,567 and appropriated CDBG program contingency
in the amount of $165,719; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-101 adopted the 1986-87 Community Development
Block Grant Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Community Development Block Grant Fund the sum
of SIX HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN DOLLARS
($668,567) .
Section 2. That the transfer of existing program appropriations in
the amount of ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETEEN
DOLLARS ($165,719) be authorized for transfer to the approved Community
Development Block Grant projects.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 3rd day of June, A.D. 1986, and to be resented for final
passage on the 17th day of June, A.D. 1986.
