HomeMy WebLinkAbout120 - 09/02/1986 - VACATING ALL RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS OF SEVEN SPRINGS RANCH PUD EXCEPT TAFT HILL ROAD ORDINANCE N0. 120, 1986 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS VACATING ALL RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS OF SEVEN SPRINGS RANCH P.U.D. EXCEPT TAFT HILL ROAD WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has been petitioned to vacate all rights-of-way and easements located at Seven Springs Ranch P.U.D. except for the right-of-way for Taft Hill Road set forth in more particular below; and WHEREAS, the owners of the property have determined that the property will not be developed under the existing plat; and WHEREAS, all utility companies have been contacted and indicate no problems with the vacation; and WHEREAS, the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced or injured by said vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that all rights-of-way and easements located on the plat of Seven Springs Ranch P.U.D. with the exception of the right-of-way for Taft Hill Road, set out more particularly as follows, to wit: That part of the East half of Section 4, Township 6 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , County of Larimer, State of Colorado, being the Plat of Seven Springs Ranch P.U.D. as filed with the Clerk and Recorder of said Larimer County, being more particularly described as follows: Considering the East line of the said Section 4 as bearing South 00°00'00" West and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, beginning at a point on the East line of said Section 4 which bears North 00°00'00" East 300.00 feet from the Southeast corner of said Section 4, thence parallel to the South line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 4, South 89°13'28" West, 726.00 feet; thence parallel to the East line of said Section 4 South 00°00'00" West, 300.00 feet, more or less, to the South line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 4; thence along said South line South 89013'28" West 1918.13 feet, more or less, to the South quarter corner of said Section 4; thence along the West line of the East half of said Section 4; North 00°30'21" West, 5322.21 feet, more or less, to the North quarter corner of said Section 4; thence along the North line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 4, North 89°41 '36" East, 2690.92 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of said Section 4; thence along the East line of said Section 4, South 00°00'00" West 5000.61 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; excepting therefrom the East 60.00 feet, as dedicated right-of-way on said Plat and also excepting therefrom the existing South Fort Collins Sanitation District sanitary sewer easement located within the above described tract. Containing 320.251 gross acres, more or less, and 313.362 net acres to the westerly right-of-way as dedicated. be, and the same hereby is, vacated, abated and abolished. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 19th day of August, A.D. 1986, and to be presented for final passage on the 2nd day of September, A.D. 1986.
