OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS
BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS AND APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED
REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes City Council to transfer appropriated amounts from one
project to another project and to appropriate unanticipated revenue
received at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to replace the Summitview bridge over the
Larimer-Weld Canal ; and
WHEREAS, the State has granted $528,000 to the City which represents
eighty percent of the estimated cost for replacing the bridge; and
WHEREAS, the City 's twenty percent matching funds are available from
completed capital projects .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following transfer of existing appropriations be
authorized:
FROM: Mountain Avenue & Walnut $ 5,447
Timberline Road Reconstruction 5,787
Minor Street Capital 21,000
South Lemay-Horsetooth 100,000

TO: Summitview Bridge $ 132,234
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Capital Projects fund the sum of FIVE HUNDRED
TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($528,000) for replacement of the Summitview
Bridge over Larimer-Weld Canal .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 5th day of August, A.D. 1986, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of August, A.D. 1986.
