OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REGARDING THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, by Ordinance No. 74,
1983 and the City of Loveland, by Ordinance No. 2092, 1983, created the
Fort Collins-Loveland Airport Authority; and
WHEREAS, the City Councils of the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins
deem it desirable to amend said ordinances to clarify the relationship of
the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Authority to the
respective Cities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 2-49 of the Code of the City be repealed and reenacted
to provide as follows:
§2-49. Membership; appointments.
Except as otherwise agreed between the Cities of Fort Collins and
Loveland, the Board of Commissioners of the Authority shall
consist of six (6) members, three (3) members to be appointed by
the City Council of the City of Loveland, TO REPRESENT THE CITY
OF LOVELAND ON THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, and three (3) members
to be appointed by the City Council of the City of Fort Collins,
TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ON THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS, such appointments to be made by separate
resolutions of the respective municipalities.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 15th day of July, A.D. 1986, and to be presented for final
passage on the 5th day of August, A.D. 1986.
