HomeMy WebLinkAbout065 - 04/18/1989 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND (TRI-TRENDS SHARE OF THE TAFT HILL ORDINANCE NO. 65, 1989 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, it is the duty of Tri-Trend, Inc, (Tri -Trend) to construct the east half of Taft Hill Road adjacent to the Rossborough Subdivision as and of its obligation as the developer of the Rossborough Subdivision ; an WHEREAS, Tri -Trend and the City have agreed that the City shall construct the east half of Taft Hill Road adjacent to the Rossborough Subdivision as part of the City's Taft Hill Road/ Horsetooth Road Intersection project; and WHEREAS, Tri-Trend has agreed to thereafter reimburse the City for its proportionate share of the construction costs of said project, which are estimated to be $157,500. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue, to be received from Tri-Trend Inc. and deposited in the Capital Projects Fund the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($157,500) which shall be expended for construction of Tri-Trend Inc. 's agreed share of the Taft Hill Road/Horsetooth Road Intersection project.
