OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AND
TECHNICAL STUDIES-UMTA FUNDS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City will receive Two Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Eight
Hundred Ninety One dollars ($268,891) in grant funds from the Urban Mass
Transportation Administration; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used for necessary capital and planning
projects in the Transfort and Technical Studies programs; and
WHEREAS , the local matching share for these grant funds is
appropriated in the existing 1989 Transfort budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the sum of TWO HUNDRED NINE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
EIGHTY ONE DOLLARS is hereby appropriated for expenditure in the
Transportation Services Fund for necessary capital improvements in the
Transfort program.
Section 2. That the sum of FIFTY NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TEN
DOLLARS is hereby appropriated in the Technical Studies-UMTA Fund for a
Transportation Development Program planning study.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 4th day of April , A.D. 1989, and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of April , A.D. 1989,`
