OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to transfer appropriated amounts or portions
thereof from one fund to another.
WHEREAS, an unusually shallow water line below the LaPorte Avenue
Bridge Reconstruction Project must be lowered at an estimated cost of
$60,000; and
WHEREAS, funds are not available in the existing LaPorte Avenue Bridge
Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $32,000 are available for transfer in
the West Prospect Road Bridge Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins Water Utility will contribute to
fund the remaining balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that a sum in the amount of THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($32,000)
appropriated to the West Prospect Road Bridge Replacement Project account
be transferred to the LaPorte Avenue Bridge Replacement Project account.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 4th day of April , A.D. 1989, and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of April , A.D. 1989.
