AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS
BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes City Council to transfer appropriated amounts from one
project to another project ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 85-113 at their meeting
of July 16, 1985, accepting a Grant Agreement from the Colorado Highway
Department of $79,200 to reconstruct the bridge at Oak Street that crosses
the Larimer #2 canal entrance to the City Park ballfields ; and
WHEREAS , the State Grant equals 80 percent of the bridge
reconstruction estimated costs, and the City must match these funds with
$19,800, which is the remaining 20 percent of the project costs ; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Rolland Moore Park capital
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following transfer of existing appropriations be
authorized within the Capital Projects Fund:
FROM: Rolland Moore Park $19,800
TO: City Park Oak Street Bridge $19,800
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 20th day of August, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 3rd day of September, A.D. 1985.
