OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR
RESERVES IN THE STORM DRAINAGE FUND FOR
TRANSFER TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15 of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available and to transfer unexpended,
appropriated amounts from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to construct necessary storm drainage
improvements on Lemay Avenue prior to the collection of the capital fees in
the Fossil Creek Basin; and
WHEREAS, funds are available from prior year reserves in the Storm
Drainage Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Storm Drainage fund the total sum of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($300,000) for transfer to the Capital Projects Fund, and
appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for storm
drainage improvements on Lemay Avenue in the Fossil Creek Storm Drainage
Basin.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 6th day of August; A.D. , 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 20th day of August , A.D. , 1985.
