OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 93 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BY THE ADOPTION OF A MASTER DRAINAGE PLAN FOR THE
FOSSIL CREEK DRAINAGE BASIN AND BY ADOPTING FEES THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the Fossil Creek Drainage Basin Master Drainageway Planning
Study was completed in August, 1982, which plan has been examined by the
Storm Drainage Board and recommended for approval by the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins does hereby determine
that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City that the
aforesaid Master Drainage Plan be adopted and declared to be a part of the
Code of the City of Fort Collins ; and
WHEREAS, the Council does further determine that it is in the best
interest of the citizens of the City that the Code of the City be amended
to include storm drainage basin and utility fees for the aforesaid Fossil
Creek Drainage Basin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That §93-6(b) ( 1) be amended by the addition of a new
subparagraph (j) as follows:
(j) Fossil Creek Drainage Basin Master Drainageway Planning
Study, prepared by Simons, Li and Associates, Inc. , dated August,
1982.
Section 2. That §93-15(c) of the Code be amended by the addition of a
new basin and basin fee as follows:

Fossil Creek $2,115.00
Section 3. That §93-18(c) (2) be amended by the addition of a new
basin and capital base rate as follows:
Basin Capital Base Rate
(per square foot per month)
Fossil Creek $0.000852
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 6th day of August, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 20th day of August, A.D. 1985.
