OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, Council has adopted Resolution 85-99, authorizing the City
to obtain an UMTA Grant for capital ; and
WHEREAS, the grant requires the City to furnish $6,000 in matching
funds; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Fund has prior year reserves available to
appropriate; and
WHEREAS, such funds are to be used for the purchase of a spare
engine.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Transportation Fund the sum of SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS
($6,000) for the purchase of a spare engine.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 18th day of June, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of July, A.D. 1985.
