OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to transfer unexpended, appropriated amounts
from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, funds of $103,000 have been appropriated in the Capital
Projects Fund for Library renovation; and
WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted in 1985 in the General Fund for
repairs to the Library, and additional appropriated 1985 funds are avail -
able in the General Fund for such repairs; and
WHEREAS, because all work on the Library will be performed as a single
project , the appropriations should be consolidated in the Capital Projects
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the sum of FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000) is hereby appro-
priated for transfer from the General Fund ($15,000 from Library 1984
encumbered carryover, and $25,000 from Building Repairs and Maintenance
1985 operating budget) to the Capital Projects Fund and appropriated for
expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for additional Library renovation.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 15th day of January, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 5th day of February ¢, A.D. 1985.
