OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CTT—YOF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE PARKLAND FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available ; and
WHEREAS , the City wishes to purchase property in the Greenbriar
Subdivision to be developed as a neighborhood park ; and
WHEREAS, the City must have funds appropriated to cover the necessary
street improvement costs before entering into the purchase contract ; and
WHEREAS, funds are available from prior year reserves in the Parkland
Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Parkland Fund the total sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY SIX
THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY THREE DOLLARS ($156, 763) for street
improvements adjacent to the Greenbriar Subdivision neighborhood park site.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 21st day of May, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 4th day of June, A.D. 1985.
