OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
AND UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available and to appropriate revenue at any time
during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to renovate the Canyon West and Columbine
Rooms in the Lincoln Center at a total cost of $150,000; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $50,000 will be raised and contributed
by private donors ; and
WHEREAS, the remaining City funds required are available from the
Capital Projects Fund prior year reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
1. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the
Capital Projects Fund the total sum of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5U,000) for
expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for the renovation of the Lincoln
Center Canyon West and Columbine Rooms.
2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Capital Projects Fund the total sum of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($100,000) for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for the
renovation of the Lincoln Center Canyon West and Columbine Rooms.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 21st day of May, A.O. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 4th day of June, A.D. 1985.
