OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE AND PRIOR
YEAR RESERVES IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUND
WHEREAS , Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves accumulated
in prior years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City will be receiving a grant in the amount of $18,200;
and
WHEREAS , such grant funds are to be used to update the State of
Colorado Rail Plan in the Fort Collins area; and
WHEREAS, the grant requires the City to furnish matching funds of
$7,800; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Fund has prior year reserves available to
appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there are hereby appropriated the sums of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($18,200) in unanticipated revenue and SEVEN THOUSAND
EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($7,800) from prior year reserves in the Transpor-
tation Fund for expenditure in updating of the Colorado Rail Plan in the
Fort Collins area.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 30th day of April , A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of May, A.D. 1985.
