OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available and to transfer unexpended, appro-
priated amounts from one project to another project; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to construct additional 1985 Capital Projects
and appropriate funds for previously approved projects which require
additional funding; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Capital Projects appropriated
contingency, from the Indoor Pool/Ice Rink loan repayment, and from Capital
Projects prior year reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
prior year reserves in the Capital Projects Fund the total sum of ONE
HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX DOLLARS ($151 ,466) for
the following projects:
Mason/Howes One Way Couplet $ 47,466
City Park Roads and Parking $104,000
Section 2. That the following transfers of existing appropriations be
authorized in the Capital Projects Fund:
FROM: Indoor Pool/Ice Rink $500,000
FROM: Appropriated Contingency 6 ,234
TOTAL $506,234
TO: Timberline Bikeway-Prospect to
Harmony $ 43,000
Mason/Howes One Way Couplet 209,734
Asbestos Removal-Phase II 1002000
Service Center Building B 63,500
City Hall West Wing Walls 209000
Avery House Renovation 309000
Outdoor Pool Repainting 40,000
TOTAL $506,234
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 30th day of April , A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of May, A.D. 1985.
