OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITT-61' FORT COLLINS,
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED
REVENUE IN THE LIGHT AND POWER FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate revenue at any time during the
year in which such revenue is received ; and
WHEREAS, the Light and Power Utility has received a grant from the
Colorado Office of Energy Conservation in the amount of $29,000; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to use this money to provide funding for
energy conservation measures made by Fort Collins residents who are at or
below 80% of the median income level .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the
Light and Power Fund the sum of TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($29,000) for
expenditure in the Light and Power Fund to provide funding for energy
conservation measures made by Fort Collins residents who are at or below
eighty percent (80%) of the median income level .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 19th day of March, A.D. 1985, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of April A.D. 1985.
