OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
GENERAL FUND AND UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE LIGHT & POWER FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a contract for a Cable Support
staff position; and
WHEREAS, the City has prior year reserves available in the General
Fund to fund the position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
1. That there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves in the
General Fund the sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) for
transfer to the Light & Power Fund.
2. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in
the Light & Power Fund the sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND ($25,000)
for expenditure for a Cable Support staff position.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of February , A.D. 1985 , and to be presented for
final passage on the 19thday of February, A.D. 1985.
