OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
STREET OVERSI7ING FUND FOR TRANSFER TO THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND APPROPRIATING
UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, on January 15 , 1985, the Council did approve on second
reading Ordinance No. 197, 1984, authorizing the City to enter into a
Street Oversizing Revenue Note in the principal amount of not more than
$2,000,000; and
WHEREAS , on January 15, 1985, the Council did pass resolution 85-13
establishing a $500,000 spending limit to the Street Oversizing line of
credit ; and
WHEREAS, the managers of the Street Oversizing Fund have determined
they now need to make the initial draw against the line of credit; and
WHEREAS, before the monies can be committed and expended an
appropriation needs to be established.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenues in
the Street Oversiziny Fund the sum of One Hundred Forty Eight Thousand
($148,000) for the transfer to the CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, and appropriated
for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund for the Greenbriar Special
Improvement District No. 87.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 5th day of November, A.D. 1985 and to be presented for
final passage on the 19th day of November, A.O. 1985.
