Home My WebLink About114 - 10/05/2021 - APPROPRIATING PRIOR-YEAR RESERVES IN VARIOUS CITY FUNDS ORDINANCE NO. 114, 2021 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING PRIOR-YEAR RESERVES IN VARIOUS CITY FUNDS WHEREAS, the City has prior year-reserves available for appropriation; and WHEREAS, Article V, Section 9 of the City Charter permits the City Council, upon recommendation of the City Manager, to appropriate by ordinance at any time during the fiscal year such funds for expenditure as may be available from reserves accumulated in prior years, notwithstanding that such funds were not previously appropriated; and WHEREAS, the Interim City Manager is recommending the appropriations described herein and has determined that these appropriations are available and previously unappropriated from the Funds named within Section 2 of this Ordinance and will not cause the total amount appropriated in each Fund named within Section 2 of this Ordinance to exceed the current estimate of actual and anticipated revenues and all other funds to be received in each such Fund during this fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the adoption of this Ordinance is necessary for the public's health, safety, and welfare, and therefore, wishes to authorize the expenditures described in this Ordinance. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the City Council hereby makes and adopts the determinations and findings contained in the recitals set forth above. Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated from the following Funds the amounts of prior year reserves set forth below to be expended for the purposes stated below. A. GENERAL FUND 1.
