HomeMy WebLinkAbout102 - 10/18/2022 - MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM VARIOUS CITY FUNDSORDINANCENO.102,2022OFTHECOUNCILOFTHECITYOFFORTCOLL11SMAKINGSUPPLEMENTALAPPROPRIATIONSFROMVARIOUSCITYFUNDSWHEREAS,theCityhasreceivedadditionalrevenueandotherfundsthisfiscalyearthatwerenotanticipated;andWHEREAS,theCityhasalsoreceivedrevenueandotherfundsthathasbeenanticipatedbutwasnotappropriatedinthe2022annualappropriationorprevioussupplementalappropriations;andWHEREAS,ArticleV,Section9oftheCityCharterpermitstheCityCouncil,uponrecommendationoftheCityManager,tomakesupplementalappropriationsbyordinanceatanytimeduringthefiscalyear,providedthatthetotalamountofsuchsupplementalappropriations,incombinationwithallpreviousappropriationsforthatfiscalyear,doesnotexceedthecurrentestimateofactualandanticipatedrevenuesandallotherfundstobereceivedduringthefiscalyear;andWHEREAS.theCityManagerisrecommendingtheappropriationsdescribedhereinanddeterminedthattheseappropriationsareavailableandpreviouslyunappropriatedfromtheFundsnamedwithinSection2ofthisOrdinanceandwillnotcausethetotalamountappropriatcdineachFundnamedwithinSection2ofthisOrdinancetoexceedthecurrentestimateofactualandanticipatedrevenuesandallotherfundstobereceivedineachsuchFundduringthisfiscalyear;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncilfindsanddeterminesthattheadoptionofthisOrdinanceisnecessaryforthepublic’shealth,safety.andwelfare,andtherefore,wishestoauthorizetheexpendituresdescribedinthisOrdinanceandthatsuchexpenditureswillservethepublicpurposesforwhichtheyaredesignated.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITORDAINEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHECITYOFFORTCOLLINSasfollows:Section1.ThattheCityCouncilherebymakesandadoptsthedeterminationsandfindingscontainedintherecitalssetforthabove.Section2.ThatthereisherebyappropriatedfromthefollowingFundstheamountsofadditionalrevenueandotherfundstobeexpendedforthepublicpurposesstatedbelow.A.GENERALFUNDI.FROM:UnanticipatedRevenue$14,290FOR:SecurityClasses(CityManager’sOffice)$14,290
