OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY—Of-FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO OF AN AGREE-
MENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING LIBRARY SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS
OF LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City has provided library services to the residents of
Larimer County by virtue of an agreement with Larimer County, and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Council of the City of Fort Collins, it
is appropriate for the City to enter into an agreement with Larimer County
in order that the City may continue to provide said library services
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the terms and conditions of the Agreement attached hereto be,
and the same hereby are, accepted and approved and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on
behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at regular meeting of the City Council held this
5th day of December, 1978

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this 5th day of December, 1978, by and between
LARIMER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, herein-
after sometimes referred to as "the County" and THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
a municipal corporation, hereinafter sometimes referred to as "the City "
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the City has provided library services to the residents of
Larimer County by virtue of an agreement with Larimer County, and
WHEREAS, it is the desires of the parties hereto for the City to
continue to provide said services
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual conditions and cove-
nants herein contained, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as
follows
1 That the City Library shall provide substantially the same ser-
vices to the residents of Larimer County which are presently rendered to
residents of the City of Fort Collins
2 That in consideration of the foregoing, the County shall pay to
the City the sum of FIFTY-THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($53,250)
annually, said amount to be paid in quarterly installments of THIRTEEN
THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TWELVE AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($13,312 50) payable on
March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1, 1979.
3 That the terms of tnis Agreement shall be in effect from January
1, 1979, and shall terminate an December 31, 1979
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have signed this Agreement on
the day and year first above written
