OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO NANCY P
GRAY FOR HER CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY
AS COUNCILMEMBER AND MAYOR
WHEREAS, Nancy P Gray was elected as a Councilmember representing
Council District No 1 on April 3, 1973, and
WHEREAS, Mrs Gray was elected for a second term representing said
District No 1 on April 5, 1977, and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Gray also served as Mayor of the City of Fort
Collins from April 1, 1980 until April 14, 1981, and
WHEREAS, this period of time has seen great growth and change in the
City, and Nancy P Gray was called upon to devote substantial time and
energy to the affairs of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the people of the City have benefited greatly from the
services, counsel, and guidance of the said Nancy P Gray
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City express, on behalf of the residents of the community,
its formal and sincere appreciation and gratitude to Nancy P Gray for her
devotion and attention to the affairs of the City as Mayor and Council-
member during her tenure from 1973 until 1981
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
21st day of April , A D 1981
