OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERGOVERMENTAL
LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH PLATTE RIVER POWER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, it is necessary that Platte River Power Authority install a
telephone cable across certain lands owned by the City and adjacent to the
City' s Soldier Canyon Water Treatment Facility, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has deemed it appro-
priate that a license agreement be executed between the City and Platte
River Power Authority for the purpose of the establishment of said tele-
phone cable
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an intergovernmental license agreement with Platte River Power Au-
thority for the purpose of the installation, operation and maintenance of a
certain telephone cable within and under a strip of land owned by the City
of Fort Collins as described on Attachment "A" hereto
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 3rd day of August, 1982

ATTACHMENT "A"
All that portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the 6th P M , Larimer County, Colorado, more particularly
described as follows
Considering the West line of said Northwest Quarter of Section 8 as bearing
North 00042'00" East and with all bearings contained herein relative
thereto, Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of
Section 8, thence along said West line of the Northwest Quarter North
00042'00" East 1320 92 feet to the North line of Tract 2, as recorded in
Book 2104, Page 0900, records of said County, thence along said North line
of Tract 2 the following four courses and distances (1) North 89°16'32"
East 13 77 feet, (2) South 45043'28" East 71 76 feet, (3) North 78°56'27"
East 406 30 feet, (4) North 66054'23" East 149 78 feet to the West line
of Tract 3, as recorded in Book 2104, Page 0897, records of said County,
thence along said West line of Tract 3 North 11'57'41" West 82 35 feet to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, thence leaving said West line of Tract 3 South
88°40'08" West 217 07 feet, thence North 06021'22" West 110 16 feet, thence
North 83'38'38" East 10 00 feet, thence South 06021'22" East 101 00 feet,
thence North 88040'08" East 206 04 feet to the Northerly prolongation of
said West line of Tract 3, thence along said Northerly prolongation and
said West line of Tract 3 South 11057'41" East 10 17 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING
Said tract contains 3,171 square feet, more or less, and is subject to all
easements and rights-of-way now existing or of record
