OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF MUSCO SPORTSCLUSTER SYSTEM
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EFFECTUATE
THE PURCHASE OF THE SAME
WHEREAS, City Park and Edora Park are currently in need of ball field
lights, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has extensively re-
searched ball field lighting systems and found no other system to be
comparable to the Musco Sportscluster system, and
WHEREAS, Section 2-60(A) (4) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
allows the purchasing agent to negotiate purchases based on professional
advise
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council approves the purchase of the Musco Sports-
cluster system at a cost of $63,440 from Rocky Mountain Electrical Repre-
sentatives
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized to effectuate said purchase
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 16th day of March 1982
