OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO
PREPARE AND PRESENT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS WITH INFORMATION RELATIVE TO
CONSOLIDATED ALLEY-SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO 11
WHEREAS, Section 16-2 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides
that one or more non-contiguous parts or sections of the City may be
included in one improvement district, and
WHEREAS, Consolidated Alley-Sidewalk Improvement District No. 11
consists of two non-contiguous parts of the City, and
WHEREAS, the request for the proposed alley improvement within Con-
solidated Alley-Sidewalk Improvement District No 11 has been initiated by
a petition of surrounding property owners, and
WHEREAS, the proposed alley improvement consists of paving the alley
between Meldrum and Sherwood Streets from West Mountain to LaPorte Avenue,
and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the paving of said alley will be
assessed against adjacent property owners, and
WHEREAS, the proposed sidewalk improvement within Consolidated Alley-
Sidewalk Improvement District No 11 has been initiated by City Council ,
and
WHEREAS, the proposed sidewalk improvements within Consolidated
Alley-Sidewalk Improvement District No 11 consists of completing approxi-
mately seventy-five (75) feet of sidewalk along the north side of Stuart
Street from Stover Street to Spring Meadows Court, and
WHEREAS, said sidewalk improvement is necessary in order to bring two
incomplete sidewalks together into one uninterrupted sidewalk along Stuart
Street to better serve the needs of the residents of the City of Fort
Collins, and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost for the completion of said sidewalks
will be assessed against the adjacent property owners
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Director of Public Works be, and he hereby is, directed to
prepare and present to the Council of the City of Fort Collins the follow-
ing information relative to Consolidated Alley-Sidewalk Improvement Dis-
trict No 11
I Preliminary plans and specifications of such improve-
ments
2 An estimate of the probable total cost of such improve-
ments
3 A map of the district to be assessed for the cost of the
improvements
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 7th day of October 1980
