OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
NOMINATING MAYOR KAREN WEITKUNAT AS A CANDIDATE FOR ELECTION
TO THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE COLORADO MUNICIPAL LEAGUE
WHEREAS, the City is a member-city of the Colorado Municipal League; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to endorse a candidate for the upcoming election to the
Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League; and
WHEREAS, during her previous term as a City Councilmember, Karen Weitkunat served
on the Colorado Municipal League Policy Committee from September 21, 2004 to April 10, 2007;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that Mayor Karen Weitkunat would be an excellent
candidate for the Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council formally endorses and nominates Mayor Karen Weitkunat as a
candidate for election to the Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
17th day of May, A.D. 2011.
