OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ADOPTING THE REPORT
OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE ESTIMATED COSTS AND ASSESSMENTS FOR
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 56 AND APPROVING THE
DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SAME DETERMINING THE NUMBER
OF INSTALLMENTS AND THE TIME WITHIN WHICH COSTS SHALL BE PAYABLE
THE RATE OF INTEREST TO BE CHARGED ON UNPAID INSTALUVJENTS AND THE
PROPERTY TO BE ASSESSED FOR THE SAME AND AUTHORIZING THE
PUBLICATION AND MAILING OF NOTICE TO THE OWNERS OF ALL REAL
PROPERTY IN SAID DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED AND TO ALL PERSONS
INTERESTED GENERALLY AND FIXING THE DATE OF HEARING WHEN THE
CITY COUNCIL WILL CONSIDER THE ORDERING BY ORDINANCE OF THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS heretofore the City Council, by Resolution directed the City
Engineer to make a complete survey of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement
District No 56 for the purpose of preparing a map plans and specifications
and estimate of the costs of said improvements in said district and
WHEREAS the City Engineer has made his report of the estimated costs
and assessments for said district and has presented the details and
specifications for the same
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the report and details and specifications as presented by the
City Engineer for said Sanitary Sewer Improvement District No 56 be and
the same hereby are accepted and adopted and
THAT the assessments for the costs of installing the improvements
in said district will be made upon the real estate in said district in
proportion as the area of each piece of real estate in the district is to
the area of all of the real estate in the district exclusive of streets
and alleys all as provided in Section 15 63(c) of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado 1958 as amended and
THAT said assessments shall be payable in ten (10) equal annual
installments with interest on the unpaid installments at the rate of six
(6) per cent per annum and that the estimated costs and assessments map
of the district schedules showing the approximate amount to be assessed
per square foot upon the several properties in the district all is pre
sented by the City Engineer be and the same hereby are accepted and
adopted and

THAT Thursday April 1 1971 at the hour of 1 30 o'clock P M
or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the council
chambers of the City Hall City of Fort Collins is the date on which
the council of the City of Fort Collins will consider ordering by Ordinance,
the proposed improvements and hear all complaints and objections that
may be filed in writing concerning the proposed improvements by the owners
of any real estate to be assessed or any persons interested in the same and
THAT the City Clerk be and he hereby is directed to give notice by
publication and mailing to the owners of property to be assessed and all
interested persons generally all as set forth in Section 15 57 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 18th day of February A D 1971

Public notice is hereby given to persons interested and to owners of
property to be assessed in Sanitary Sewer Improvements District No 56 that
the Kind of improvements proposed for said district is the installation of
sanitary sewer lines and
That the costs of said improvements as assessed will be payable in ten
(10) equal annual installments and that the rate of interest to be paid on
unpaid and deferred installments will be six (6) per cent per annum and
that the extent of the district to be improved is as follows
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Taft Hill
Road and the center line of LaPorte Avenue thence easterly along
the center line of LaPorte Avenue 180 feet thence southerly and
parallel to the center line of Taft 11111 Road 1161 60 feet thence
westerly and parallel to the center line of LaPorte Avenue 180
feet to the center line of Taft Hill Road thence southerly along
the center line of Taft Hill Road 39 9 feet thence westerly and
parallel to the center line of LaPorte Avenue 180 feet thence
northerly and parallel to the center line of Taft Hill Road 1201 5
feet to the center line of LaPorte Avenue thence westerly along
the center lime of LaPorte Avenue 298+ feet to the easterly line
of New Mercer Canal thence northwesterly along the easterly line
of the New Mercer Canal 215+ feet to a point which lies 175 feet
west of the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue thence northerly
and parallel to the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue 179+ feet
to a point which lies 380 8 feet north of the center line of
LaPorte Avenue thence easterly and parallel to the center line
of LaPorte Avenue 550 feet to the center line of Taft Hill Road
Thence southerly along the center line of Taft Hill Road 380 78
feet to the point of beginning
and that the probable costs for said district as shown by the total estimate
of the City Engineer is $42 925 00✓exclusive of the cost of collection, legal
and advertising engineering financing interest and other incidentals and
THAT to said cost will be added an amount equal to seventeen (17) per
cent of such cost to cover the expense of collection legal and advertising
engineering financing, interest during construction, and other incidentals and
THAT assessments for the cost of such improvements will be made upon
all of the lots and lands in the district in proportion as the area of each
piece of real estate in the district is to the area of all real estate in the
district exclusive of streets and alleys all as provided in Section 15 63(c)
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958 as
amended and
THAT the maximum cost per square foot, exclusive of the cost of collection
legal and advertising, engineering financing interest during construction
and other incidentals is $ 08234 and
THAT Thursday April 1 1971 at the hour of 1 30 o'clock P M in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall Fort Collins Colorado is the date
that the City Council will consider the ordering by ordinance of the
proposed improvements and will hear all complaints and objections that may
be made and filed in writing by the owners of any real property to be
assessed or persons interested generally No complaints or objections will
be considered unless the same are made in writing and filed at the office
of the City Clerk of the City Hall before said date and
THAT a map of the district and estimates of costs schedules showing
approximate amount per square foot to be assessed upon the several lots or
parcels of land within the district and all proceedings of the City Council
in the premises are on file and can be seen and examined in the City Clerk's
Office during business hours at any time before said hearing
