HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-024-03/04/1971-APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO WITH THE COLORADO AND SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY RESOLUTION 71-24 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO WITH THE COLORADO AND SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY WHEREAS the City intends to erect traffic control signals at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Mason Street in the City and WHEREAS the Colorado and Southern Railway Company right of way on Mason Street crosses at said intersection and there are railroad crossing signals already in existence at said intersection and WHEREAS it is desirable to connect the circuits of the traffic signals to be installed by the City with said railroad signals and WHEREAS an agreement has been prepared between the City and The Colorado and Southern Railway Company permitting such connection which agreement has been approved by the City Attorney and the City Manager NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the terms and conditions of said agreement be and the same hereby are accepted and approved and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 4th day of March A D 1971 Md r ATTEST City qje
