RESOLUTION NO.78-99 OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS RECOGNIZING FRANK JOHNSON FOR
HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY AND COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson was appointed to the Cultural Resources Board
on June 7, 1977; and
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson resigned his position, effective September 1 ,
1978; and
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson was actively involved in the fund-raising
efforts for the construction of the Lincoln Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson was directly involved in the process of estab-
lishing the Lincoln Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson was instrumental in the creation of the Lincoln
Center Guild for the promotion of public involvement in cultural affairs;
and
WHEREAS, Frank Johnson resigned in order to further devote his time
and energy to the increased involvement of the public in the cultural
affairs of the City of Fort Collins, through the Lincoln Center Guild.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council recognizes and appreciates the devotion of
Frank Johnson to the cultural affairs of the City of Fort Collins.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council wishes to commend Frank
Johnson for his continued participation in the activities of the Lincoln
Center Guild.
Passed and adopted at regular meeting of e City Council held this
19th day of December, A.D. 1978.
