OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE HIGHWAYS ADMINISTRATION PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT BY THE CITY AND JOINT
PAYMENT THEREFORE BY THE STATE HIGHWAYS ADMINISTRATION AND THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, the State Highways Administration of the State of Colorado
has presented to the City an agreement whereby the City would be awarded
Three Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Thirty-Nine Dollars ($321,039 00) in
federal funds to be applied towards the purchase and installation of the
following equipment, to-wit two (2) rebuilt 45-passenger wheelchair
lift-equipped buses, two (2) bus shelters, and complete bus stop sign
installation, and
WHEREAS, in addition to the aforementioned uses, grant funds will be
utilized in offsetting the operating and administrative expenses of Trans-
fort and Care-A-Van, and
WHEREAS, the City has available matching funds in the Seven Year
Capital Fund in the amount of Twenty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred and
Twenty-Three Dollars ($28,823 00) , and
WHEREAS, such proposed agreement has been approved by the City At-
torney
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the terms and conditions of said intergovernmental agreement
be, and the same hereby are, accepted and approved, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to execute said intergovernmental agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 6th day of Janua�_, 1981
