OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT TO BE
ENTERED INTO WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
PROVIDING FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNS AND
SIGNALS WITHIN THE CITY BY THE CITY AND PAYMENT THEREFOR
BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways, State Department of Highways, of
the State of Colorado, has prepared and presented to the City an Agreement
providing for the City to maintain traffic signs and signals along State
Highways within the City limits; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into previous Intergovernmental Agree-
ments with the Division of Highways, State Department of Highways of the
State of Colorado, providing for the maintenance of traffic signs and
signals along State Highways within the City; and
WHEREAS, said proposed Agreement has been approved by the City Manager
and the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed
to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins,
the terms of said Agreement providing for the maintenance of traffic signs
and signals along State highways within the City limits and payment there-
for by the State at a rate of Two Hundred Thirty-Seven Dollars ($237) per
month for each traffic signal and Eight Hundred Forty Dollars ($840) per
year per mile for signage.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
7th day of August, A.D. 1984.
